When we launched The Bay Company we wanted to have our own line of reed diffusers. We have always enjoyed having beautiful natural scents in our home, so we wanted to bring the coast and countryside to other people's homes, wherever they may live. A lot of time has gone into perfecting our diffusers and designing a product that really does represent each fragrance. We really hope you like them!
We started our collection with 4 fragrances......
Rocksalt & Driftwood
Our Rocksalt & Driftwood diffuser evokes that unbeatable feeling of a crisp morning walk on your favourite beach (for many, Robin Hood's Bay or Whitby). This fresh coastal scent has top notes of ozone & seaweed, heart notes of cyclamen and waterlily and base notes of driftwood, amber, patchouli & musk.

Black Plumb & Rhubarb
This fresh and fruity scent packs a punch and will elevate any room with it's top note of rhubarb, heart notes of pear & peach and base notes of plum & blackberry. The perfect scent for spring and summer.

Woodland Walk
Reminiscent of a summer’s afternoon walk in an English woodland, this scent has top notes of bergamot, lemon leaf & eucalyptus; heart notes of spices, lavender & geranium; and base notes of cedar wood, massoia, woods & amber.

Apple & Cinnamon
This really is the quintessential Christmas scent. With top notes of apple, cinnamon & orange, heart notes of cinnamon & apple and a base note of coumarin, this diffuser will bring that warm and festive feeling to any home. We only have a couple left and once they're gone, they won't be back until the end of the year.

All of our reed diffusers are handmade on the Yorkshire Coast and are vegan and cruelty-free. Your diffuser will typically last between 6-8 weeks and includes 6 fibre reeds.
Our reed diffusers are currently only available in the UK.
Getting the best result from your diffuser
In order to get the best results from your diffuser, here are a few things to keep in mind....
Diffusers are a more subtle yet constant alternative to air fresheners. Remember to consider the size of the room your diffuser will be in. In a average sized room, you'll get a much stronger scent than if you place your diffuser in a large open space.
To make the diffuser's scent circulate more efficiently, place it in a position that has moderate foot traffic as that will get the air and scent moving nicely.
If you notice that your scent starts to fade, you can turn the reeds over for more fragrance to be released. Avoid doing this too often though as it will make your diffuser evaporate quicker.
